I love the nose of the red 2022 Viña Ulises; it's elegant, clean, floral and perfumed, straightforward but with depth and persistence. This is a pale ruby blend of Giró with 10% Garnacha. It has moderate 13% alcohol, a medium-bodied palate with very fine tannins and an elegant, soft mouthfeel. It keeps the poise in a very warm year like 2022. Fifty percent of the blend matured in used 500-liter oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel for nine months. 12,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2023.
