Description
Grinton Blanc is an orange wine made from Chardonnay, a variety known for its versatility and refreshing character. This particular wine comes from a friendly vineyard located near Ombretta Agricola in Salgareda. The vineyards are planted on alluvial soils on the banks of the Piave river.
Winemaking
The grapes are destemmed at the winery entrance to ferment with their skins for three weeks. The wine is then pressed and aged for six months in old barrels and stainless steel tanks.
Taste
Grinton Blanc Chardonnay has a beautiful peach tone and displays soft aromas of citrus and spices. On the palate, it has a pleasant bitterness that provides a refreshing sensation, making this wine an ideal choice to accompany dishes such as salmon or mushroom risotto.
