Description
Fedellos Do Couto Conasbrancas is a white wine defined as a fresh wine with imposing saline tones. It is a product of the treatment of grapes type Dona Branca and Godello in 85%, and the rest coming from vineyards of more than 60 years of antiquity.
It is defined as a fruity and juicy wine, which leaves in the mouth the subtlety that characterises its peculiar texture.
Elaboration
The Conasbrancas wine of the Fedellos Do Couto winery is made from the cultivation of different types of grapes, including Doña Branca and Godello.
After harvesting and ensuring that the grapes are at their optimum ripening point, they are subjected to an 80% vatting process, without destemming the fruit. After that, only 20% of the fruit is pressed and then fermented in barrels, using indigenous yeasts at a temperature of 18°C.
As for the maceration process, it must be for a minimum period of 30 days and then it is aged for 8 months in used French oak barrels and finally bottled.
Taste
Conasbrancas wine has a very particular saline taste, combined with hints of green fruits and citrus tones. Each sip leaves a dry effect on the palate, but with a medium acidity that is pleasant.
