The XL 2022 El Titan del Bendito not only comes in a large and heavy bottle, but everything is about it is large. It comes in at 16% alcohol and has abundant tannins, ripe fruit, generous oak and a larger-than-life style, pretty much the signature of the reds here, but it's in balance. It's better to wait a bit, as it's still a little marked by the élevage, with some notes of cafe au lait. 11,098 bottles produced.

Aged for 20 months in new French oak barrels.
Description
Carefully selected Tinta de Toro grapes from old vines, planted in natural soil, are matured for 20 months in barrels to create an exceptional red wine from the Toro region. These grapes are between 50 and 100 years old and are carefully cultivated to produce a wine of great quality.
Winemaking
This wine is made in an artisanal way in modern facilities. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks for 25 to 40 days.
It is then matured in new French oak barrels for at least 20 months and left in the bottle for a minimum of 15 months before being sold.
Taste
Titán del Bendito is an intense and elegant wine with aromas of ripe fruit and flowers. It has a powerful entry on the palate and is opulent and ripe, with a lingering finish that highlights fruit and minerality.
The pride of the Toro region
This wine is an excellent choice to accompany a wide variety of dishes, especially those that are more intense in flavour and structure. Roast meats, stews and legumes are some examples of dishes that will benefit from the presence of this wine.
It is also a good choice for pairing with cured meats, as the smoky flavour of these foods complements the wine very well. Finally, this wine also pairs very well with cheeses, as the acidity and fruitiness of the wine can help to balance the powerful flavour of some of the more mature cheeses.
