The Bulles de Comptoir #RosExpress (Face B) is a Rosé Extra Brut made from 100% Pinot Noir picked in 2011, bottled in December 2012 and disgorged in June 2014 with five grams per ltier. Salmon-colored, it offers a very subtle and fresh, yet somewhat tangy bouquet of red currant and oxidative strawberry and raspberry aromas. Very pure and delicate on the palate, this is a medium-bodied, rather lean and linear, firmly structured yet slightly drying and aromatically not that brilliant Rosé that either reflects the fermentation in barrels or a very light touch of TCA. However, it seems to be more a Champagne to be served with food as an aperitif. No second bottle available.
