Description
Charlot Tanneux Cuvée Nicolas Brut Premier Cru is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes, being 95% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier from the Les Vossenelles vineyard in the village of Mardeuil, planted in 1964, and from Les Chapottes, planted in 1976.
Winemaking
Charlot Tanneux Cuvée Nicolas Brut Premier Cru is the result of biodynamic practices both in the vineyard and in its production. The must ferments with indigenous yeasts and ages for 11 months in old French oak barrels in the cellar of the family home. The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation and is not filtered or clarified.
