Description
Bruno Giacosa Nebbiolo D'Alba Vigna Valmaggiore is a red wine made from the Nebbiolo grape variety. It comes from the Valmaggiore vineyard, located in the village of Vezza d'Alba. The vines have an average age of 44 years and face southwest.
Winemaking
Harvesting takes place in mid-October, with a yield of 45 hectolitres per hectare. Fermentation and maceration are carried out for 22 days in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation is fully developed and the wine is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
Taste
Bruno Giacosa Nebbiolo D'Alba Vigna Valmaggiore has a garnet red colour with ruby tones. On the nose, it displays notes of red fruits. On the palate, it stands out for its good tannic structure, structure and pleasant freshness. It is a wine that combines tradition and terroir.
