Description
Billaud-Simon Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent is a prestigious white wine made exclusively from Chardonnay. Sourced from 50 year old vineyards located on clay-limestone soils, this wine is a faithful reflection of the typicity and distinction of the Chablis terroir. The Billaud-Simon winery, with a long tradition of producing elegant and mineral wines, follows traditional agricultural practices and harvests the grapes by hand at the optimum moment of ripeness.
Winemaking
In the winery, the grapes go through a pneumatic press and the must undergoes a cold maceration of 5-7 days. Fermentation takes place for 15-18 days, followed by ageing for 14-16 months in stainless steel tanks.

Billaud-Simon Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent stands out for its freshness and elegance. On the nose, it presents aromas of yellow fruit, notes of ginger and mineral hints that give it a great aromatic complexity.
