Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The sparkling rosé 2017 Pedregar was produced with Garnacha grapes from a 1.6-hectare vineyard planted in 1982 on limestone marl soils that ripens slowly and is worked organically, dry-farmed and with cover crops. The full clusters were pressed, and the juice fermented in 3,000-liter oak foudres and stainless steel vats, where it matured for eight months; it was then put in bottle to referment and was kept there with the lees for at least 60 months. It has a copper color and an expressive nose with hints of translucent red berries, notes of bread dough and aromatic herbs. It has a serious and harmonious palate with very small and integrated bubbles. It transcends the color; it's a serious sparkling wine. 9,067 bottles produced.

Description
AT Roca Pedregar is a sparkling wine with the Clàssic Penedès designation of origin, made using the traditional method. This wine takes its name from the vineyard where it was born, a vineyard more than 35 years old, specifically Garnacha Tinta planted on calcareous marl.
Winemaking
After fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks for the following 7 months. Subsequently, the base wine remains in the bottle for a minimum of 60 months on the lees for the second fermentation and the foaming process. Bottled without expedition liqueur.
Taste
AT Roca Pedregar AT Roca Pedregar has a characteristic colour known as "ojo de perdiz". Its bubbles are very fine, slowly evolving, with the formation of rosaries and a dense crown. On the nose, it is clean and frank, standing out for its intensity and complexity. Aromas of stone fruit and citrus are perceived, complemented by a background of pastry. On the palate, this wine is structured and fresh, with a mineral touch. Its fine bubbles are well integrated, offering a broad and creamy sensation on the palate.
