Description
Sexto Elemento Orange is a natural wine produced by Sexto Elemento, a winery that is committed to traditional and environmentally friendly methods. It is mainly made from the Viura variety (also known as Macabeo), with Denomination of Origin Valencia. The vineyard is located in the region of Valencia, where the Mediterranean climate favours optimum ripening of the grapes. The soils where the vines grow are predominantly clayey, which gives structure and depth to the wine.
Winemaking
The wine is made using a unique maceration process, which lasts 250 days with raisined grapes, harvested at the end of autumn. Subsequently, the wine is fermented for two years in barrels in a slow and controlled manner, which contributes to its complexity and distinctive character. This care in production results in a natural, elegant and subtle wine, with a marked personality that leaves no one indifferent.
Taste
Sexto Elemento Orange offers a unique sensory experience. The nose is dominated by aromas of dried fruits such as apricot and fig, with notes of citrus and mild spices such as white pepper. On the palate, it has a silky texture, with a good balance between its natural sweetness and a light acidity, which makes it fresh despite its intensity. The finish is floral and slightly sweet, leaving a persistent and elegant sensation.
This wine is an authentic expression of orange wines, known for their body, complexity and freshness, being perfect to accompany intense dishes or as an aperitif.
