Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2020 Els Presseguers has aromas of dried straw and peach, round and lush, with the concentration from a low-yielding year due to mildew, and it has a rounder and gentler palate than the sharp 2021 I tasted next to it. This is varietal, clean, expressive and open, a vintage that is approachable and easy to drink. 2,778 bottles were filled in June 2021.

Description
The wine L'Enclòs de Peralba Els Presseguers represents an oenological jewel that stands out for its uniqueness and quality. Produced in the Gelida region, this wine is the result of meticulous work in vineyards planted in 1993. The grape variety used is Xarel.lo, known for its ability to faithfully reflect the terroir and for its versatility in making wines with character. Els Presseguers is a clear example of this expression, cultivated under biodynamic practices by the winegrower Francesc Pascual, whose name adorns the label of the wine.
Winemaking
The elaboration of this wine is a carefully orchestrated process. Situated at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level and with a northern exposure, the vineyard enjoys ideal conditions that are reflected in the quality of the grapes. The wine is fermented and matured in 500 litre barrels and cement eggs, a technique that contributes to its unique flavour profile. Production is limited, with only 3,300 bottles, which adds an exclusive value to each bottle of Els Presseguers.
Taste
L'Enclòs de Peralba Els Presseguers is characterised by notes of peach, which are intertwined with a distinctive intensity and character. With 12.4% alcohol and very good acidity, it offers a round and full palate. Freshness is a key attribute, providing a balance that makes it impressive and memorable. The combination of freshness and Mediterranean character in its profile makes it an exceptionally balanced, clean and attractive wine for a wide range of palates.
