The 2018 Les Arboises, produced from vines planted in 1957 within the Brézé commune on clay-limestone soils, present aromas of rose, dark wild berries, spices and a touch of oak. It’s medium-bodied, tense and straight with a juicy mid-palate and powdery tannins, concluding with a long, ethereal and fine-grained finish. The wine undergoes two weeks of maceration and is matured for two years in barrels, half of which are previously used and half are new.

Winemaking
Fermented with indigenous yeasts and destemmed grapes in concrete tanks. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (80% new) and in stainless steel for a few additional months before bottling.
