The bright ruby colored 2020 Grimalt/Caballero reflects a cool Mediterranean vintage (for them it was cooler than 2021). It was a lower-yielding year when Callet suffered mildew. It matured in a 600-liter barrel. It has the essence of Callet, floral and perfumed, with incredible finesse and freshness, with a certain fragility but lots of energy. It developed a honeyed note, with a hint of pollen and beeswax with time in the glass. The filled some 800 bottles in December 2021.
