Description
Giovanni Rosso Langhe Nebbiolo is a red wine of the Langhe DOC appellation, made entirely from the Nebbiolo grape variety. This wine is a faithful representative of the Piedmont region, with a traditional winemaking process that respects the characteristics of the variety.
Winemaking
The must ferments in cement tanks for about 15 days, in contact with the skins, which allows all the aromatic and tannic compounds of the grapes to be extracted. After fermentation, the wine is aged in large French oak barrels for several months, which helps to refine its structure and bring out subtle notes of spices and wood.
Taste
Giovanni Rosso Langhe Nebbiolo stands out for its freshness and elegance. On the nose, it offers penetrating aromas of wild berries, with a floral background dominated by notes of roses and violets. On the palate, it is a vigorous and enveloping wine, with refined and well-integrated tannins that provide a smooth sensation on the palate. The hints of sweet spices and the slightly saline finish with hints of liquorice make it a complex and pleasant choice.
This wine, thanks to its tannic structure and freshness, is easy to drink, but it is also versatile to accompany both lighter dishes and red meat or game dishes. Moreover, its ideal drinking temperature is between 14-16°C, which makes it perfect for any occasion, even in warmer seasons.
