Winemaking
The wine is made at Weingut Fritz Haag, a winery with a long history dating back to 1605. Under the direction of Oliver Haag, the wine benefits from a winemaking tradition that has endured over the centuries. The Riesling grapes are carefully grown and harvested by hand, going through several cycles of selection to ensure the highest quality. Vinification is carried out with a focus on preserving the natural characteristics of the grapes, using spontaneous fermentation and prolonged lees contact, resulting in a wine of great expressiveness and character.
Taste
This sweet wine is distinguished by its warm flavour and structure. It has a juicy body and playful tropical aromas that are joined by an expressive floral bouquet. On the palate, there is an aroma with pronounced citrus freshness, notes of orange peel and ripe lime, accompanied by yellow peach and a delicate slate essence. The straight, pronounced minerality combines with juicy, intense fruit, offering a seductive balance of fruit and freshness. The finish is long, with a creamy texture, subtle salinity and concentrated slate aromatics.
