Description
Emilio Moro is a red wine made exclusively with the Tempranillo grape variety by Bodegas Emilio Moro under the D.O. Ribera del Duero appellation.
The grapes come from vines aged between 12 and 25 years old located in Pesquera de Duero, southwest facing, planted on clay-limestone-stony soils.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in small 15 kg crates. On arrival at the winery, an exhaustive selection process is carried out to discard any clusters that are not in optimum condition.
Fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and malolactic fermentation takes place for 30 days in stainless steel tanks.
After maceration and fermentation, this wine is aged for 12 months in American and French oak barrels.
Taste
Emilio Moro is a wine with a great fruity character and a magnificent aromatic complexity. In the mouth it is a sweet, easy to drink wine, with a sweet and polished tannin and a sufficiently persistent aftertaste.
