Description
Edulis Crianza is a wine produced by Bodegas Altanza, located in the D.O. Rioja. This wine is 100% Tempranillo and is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by a second ageing in bottle for another 12 months.
Winemaking
Vinification is carried out in the traditional way, with alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28ºC, followed by maceration with the skins for 10 days. Edulis Crianza is characterised by being a versatile and balanced wine, with an aromatic profile highlighted by fresh red fruits such as raspberry and cherry, complemented by sweet hints of liquorice.

Edulis Crianza offers a complex and balanced sensory experience. On the nose, aromas of fresh red fruits such as raspberry and cherry intertwine with soft notes of liquorice. On the palate, concentration and balance highlight its fruity character, accompanied by a subtle hint of spice that adds depth to the flavour. On the palate, it is round and pleasant, with a long aftertaste that invites further enjoyment. This red wine is ideal for pairing with a variety of dishes, from salads and pastas with intense sauces to red meats and small game, always offering a pleasant and versatile experience.
