Description
Derain Pommard Les Petits Noizons is renowned for its particular grape variety, which is part of one of the greatest and most powerful wines of the Cote de Beaune. There is no doubt that it is one of the premium wines that tastes best with age.
It is a wine of strong character with intense flavours created for connoisseurs of good wine. You can drink it young as well, but if you want to enjoy a better experience keep it in your cellar for a while to develop and acquire more quality.
Winemaking
This wine is made with Pinot Noir, which is a better quality grape variety, 80% of which is used in its entirety and has a maceration time of 15 days. Alcoholic fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts.
The grapes are organically grown and harvested by hand, and approximately 50% of whole bunches are fermented for about 2 weeks before being pressed and matured in French oak barrels for 12 months, and then bottled unfiltered and unclarified.
Taste
It is a very aromatic red wine with a garnet colour, intense flavours of red fruits, very fine and elegant. In the mouth it is powerful but pleasant and very easy to drink with medium tannins, good minerality and bright.
A complex wine
It is true that it can be drunk instantly, but leaving it for some time for ageing the result is totally different, as it is a very complex wine with unique flavours that will make you enjoy the best experience.
It is clear that it is a wine of very favourable characteristics and of excellent quality which you will be able to accompany with your favourite food with friends or family, or with colleagues in work meetings.
Taste this great wine with meat and pasta dishes and let us know how it goes!
