Description

Danjou Banessy Estaca Gran Reserva red wine is the best companion for red meats and other exquisite dishes, because it enhances their flavour. It is made from Grenache grapes over 120 years old grown in soils to which no chemicals are added.
It is a biodynamic wine made by the brothers Benoit and Sébastian at the Danjou-Banessy Winery, with minimum intervention, without adding sulphites, filtering or fining.

Winemaking

The Danjou Banessy Estaca wine is made from red Grenache grapes grown in the oldest vineyard belonging to this winery, which is more than 120 years old.
After spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with yeasts, it is aged in wooden barrels for two to five years. Finally, it is bottled by gravity according to the moon phase without fining or filtering. No sulphites are added.

Taste

The biodynamic red wine Danjou Banessy Estaca, has flavours of forest fruits as well as floral aromas. It is a pleasant and vibrant wine that leaves an intense stony and mineral sensation.
It is an intense, deep and crisp wine that has a fairly pure long finish, with earthy notes, and a beautiful light ruby red colour.

A wine with ancient touches

This wine is made from red Grenache grape vines that come from an old vineyard, and this can be felt in its intense flavour. It is a wine that reflects the terroir very well and transports the taster to the beautiful region of Roussillon in the French Pyrenees.
Danjou Banessy Estaca is a natural red wine that is perfect with veal, poultry or lamb. It also goes very well with pasta.
Try it for yourself and don't hesitate to write to us to tell us about your experience.
