Description
Constantina Sotelo Rosalía wine is a unique creation of Constantina Sotelo, an artisan winemaker from Rías Baixas, Galicia. Made mainly from Albariño grapes, it stands out for its freshness and authenticity. The vineyards are located in Castrelo, a small village in the Salnés Valley, near the sea, which gives its wines a remarkable Atlantic minerality. The soils where the vines grow are of granitic decomposition, a factor that enhances the saline character of the wine.
Winemaking
The winemaking process of Constantina Sotelo Rosalía includes a manual harvest, followed by direct pressing. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation is carried out spontaneously, using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, and the wine is aged on its lees for a period of 11 months.
Taste
Constantina Sotelo Rosalía stands out for its vibrant freshness, with a profiled acidity that gives it a lively and easy-drinking character. On the palate, one can identify notes of tropical fruits, citrus fruits such as apple and stone, with a subtle saline touch. This minerality adds depth to the wine, perfectly balancing its aromatic profile. In addition, the presence of fine lees gives it a creamy texture and a long, refreshing finish.
