Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

At the top of the range is the oaked cuvée, the 2013 1040 Sameirás, which is a blend of equal parts of Treixadura, Albariño, Godello and Lado. It finishes fermentation in oak barrels where it stays for an additional 6-7 months working the lees. The creamy oak is well integrated with the balsamic fruit aromas combining with gunpowder, stony hints with white fruit and flowers. On the medium-bodied palate the wood add some texture to the wine. This wine would benefit from some time in the bottle. 3,500 bottles were produced.
