The 2017 IGP Pays d'Hérault Blanc is based on Clairette and Carignan Blanc, but it also includes Grenache Blanc, Roussanne and Chenin Blanc. Honey and toast mark the nose, backed by notes of white peaches and pineapple. It's medium-bodied and almost Burgundian in feel, with a plump mid-palate but reasonable acidity on the long, harmonious finish. It should drink well for at least another 3-4 years, but it might go longer.
