Description
Goliardo Tinto is a red wine aged in oak made by Bodegas Forjas del Salnés with a blend of the native varieties Caíño Tinto, Loureiro, Sousón and Espadeiro in the Rías Baixas DO in Galicia.
The grapes used to produce this red wine come from old vines ranging in age from 45 to 180 years planted on pebbly, sandy and granitic soils.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand when they reach their optimum ripening point. In the cellar, Goliardo Tinto ferments spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine then ages in 225 and 500 litre oak barrels and 1,500 litre oak foudres for 12 months.
Flavour
Goliardo Tinto is a smooth red wine that highlights its aromatic intensity, with notes of wood, ripe fruit and subtle herbaceous notes. In the mouth it maintains its fruity character, with acidity and medium body.

Goliardo Tinto is a coupage of autochthonous varieties from the Rías Baixas. It was made by Raúl Pérez. This famous oenologist has been able to reflect in this wine an Atlantic freshness and an unparalleled elegance.
