Antoine Lienhardt Emphase is an exceptional wine that reflects the dedication and artistry of winemaker Antoine Lienhardt. This wine, made with Pinot Noir from vines between 60 and 80 years old, is a testament to the rich winemaking heritage of Comblanchien, in the Côte-d'Or region of Burgundy.
Winemaking
The Lienhardt winery covers 6 hectares, certified biodynamic, which guarantees sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices. The vinification of Antoine Lienhardt Emphase is carried out without the use of added sulphites during fermentation, thus maintaining the purity and vitality of the fruit. The ageing process includes a 10-month ageing in a combination of oak barrels and egg-shaped cement vats, which contributes to its complexity and distinctive character.
Taste
Antoine Lienhardt Emphase is distinguished by its explosion of flavours and vibrant acidity. On the nose, it offers a seductive blend of red fruits such as sour cherries and berries, accompanied by floral and spicy notes. On the palate, the wine shows an elegant and well-balanced structure, with fine tannins and a mineral profile that adds depth and persistence to the palate. Hints of tart cherry and forest fruits are complemented by a spicy touch and a long, refreshing finish.
