Description
Sameirás Blanco is a young white wine from Ribeiro, produced by the Adega Antonio Cajide winery. This wine is a blend of several varieties: 55% Treixadura, 20% Albariño, 12% Godello, 8% Lado, 2% Loureira Blanca, 2% Torrontés and 1% Caíño Blanco. It comes from own vineyards located in Galicia, at altitudes ranging between 75 and 400 metres, planted on terraces.
Winemaking
The elaboration of Sameirás Blanco includes a cold maceration with its lees and a fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25ºC. This process is carried out in French oak barrels for 4 months, which contributes to its flavour and aroma profile.
Taste
Sameirás Blanco is a creamy wine, with structure and freshness. Aromas of white stone fruit, floral notes and a touch of dry grass stand out. In the mouth, it is ample, silky and with a long, fresh finish. It is characterised by being very fruity, with good acidity and a persistent finish that leaves hints of citrus and a slight bitterness. Its colour is yellow with greenish reflections, clean and bright. On the nose, aromas of white fruits, fennel, laurel and cut grass are perceived.
