Entirely aged in a one-year-old 2,000 liter double fuder until July, the 2015 Josephshöfer Riesling trocken GG displays an intense bouquet of ripe fruits, yeasty and fresh oak aromas. Full-bodied, intense and powerful, the Josephshöfer reveals stunningly fresh acidity although it is analytically rather moderate. The wine is well structured, intense and quite powerful in the finish and needs another two or three years in the bottle.
