Description
Nas del Gegant Rosé is a rosé wine made from Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Carignan and Merlot grape varieties, cultivated using biodynamic and natural techniques that allow the fruit to express itself without the addition of chemical compounds.
It is a wine with accentuated fruit tones, but which at the same time becomes spicy on the palate. Freshness is one of its most defining characteristics, as well as being classified as juicy and easy to drink.
Winemaking
The Nas del Gegant Rosé wine is the product of processing several types of grapes from the same vineyard, and treated under the same cultivation techniques that guarantee the naturalness of the wine.
The harvesting phase is carried out in an artisan way, guaranteeing that the grapes are treated in a correct way, avoiding any alteration in their flavour before they reach the winery.
The must then undergoes an alcoholic fermentation process, using yeasts indigenous to the fruit, without the addition of chemical compounds to speed up the process. This process is carried out in stainless steel barrels.
Using the same tanks, the wine is then aged for a period of 8 months, before being bottled without filtering.
Taste
Escoda Sanahuja's Nas del Gegant Rosé is a rosé wine that denotes in its taste the freshness of red fruits. It has a high level of acidity in the mouth, but it is attenuated by the spicy nuances provided by the combination of the grape varieties used to produce it.
An elegant and fresh rosé wine
The wine Nas del Gegant Rosé is an example that denotes in each sip the peculiarity of the grape varieties used, as it becomes fresh in the mouth and maintains the elegance that characterises any Rosé. It is excellent to taste with appetizers or smoked food.
