Description

The Joseph Burrier Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine wine is characterised by its different nuances in flavour and aromas, highlighting the presence of yellow fruits with tropical touches of citrus, classifying it as fresh and elegant.
Many tasters define it as a structured wine, with body and volume, velvety and with very light tannins, which leaves a long-lasting finish on the palate. It has a striking golden yellow colour that does not go unnoticed when served in the glass.

Winemaking

The agricultural techniques used for planting the fruit are characterised by being ecological, that is to say, a minimum of intervention is sought in each process. Applying this philosophy ensures that a large percentage of the harvest maintains the optimum level of freshness to be used in the production of this wine.
The grapes are also harvested by hand, as is the selection of the bunches, as this determines whether the fruit is at the ideal point of ripeness.
It is subjected to pressing techniques to extract the must, and fermented under a natural process, using oak barrels.
It is then aged on its fine lees for 9 to 10 months, before being filtered and bottled.

Taste

Joseph Burrier Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine has a fruity flavour and spicy notes that balance perfectly to bring freshness and lingering flavour on the palate. Its texture is velvety, intense and lively, managing to remain dry in the mouth.

A velvety wine

The Joseph Burrier Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine wine is defined as velvety because the perceived tannins are light, making it an elegant and smooth wine. It is perfect with fish, white meat and seafood dishes.
