Description
Hito Rosado is a wine produced by Bodegas Cepa 21 in the Ribera del Duero appellation of origin, standing out for being a young rosé wine with character and freshness. This winery, renowned for its modern and minimalist approach, presents this wine made from 100% Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes. The grapes come from vineyards located between 750 and 850 metres above sea level on clay-sandy and loamy soils, which gives the wine a unique character.
Winemaking
As for the elaboration of Hito Rosé, after a long cold racking and a 24-hour maceration, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of between 12 and 15ºC. Finally, the wine rests for 6 months on the fine lees, giving it complexity and texture.
Taste
Hito Rosé offers a surprising taste experience. On the palate, its freshness stands out, accompanied by a balanced acidity and a silky texture that makes it an enveloping wine. The predominant aromas on the nose are of ripe red fruits such as strawberries and redcurrants, together with a floral touch reminiscent of rose petals. This rosé offers a long and fruity finish, where you can appreciate its great volume and persistence. Its complex and fruity character sets it apart from other wines in the same category.
