Emidio Pepe Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a winemaking gem that reflects the passion and dedication of the Pepe family, renowned for their artisanal approach and respect for tradition in winemaking. This red wine is made from 100% Montepulciano grapes, grown in vineyards located in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The vineyards are planted on mineral-rich soils, which contributes to the wine's complexity and character.
Winemaking
The winemaking process follows traditional and natural methods. The grapes are pressed by hand and fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in cement vats, without temperature control, allowing a spontaneous fermentation that respects the purity of the fruit. Ageing is carried out in these same containers for a prolonged period, followed by bottle ageing in the family's cellars, allowing the wine to develop its characteristic structure and elegance.

When tasting Emidio Pepe Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, one perceives intense aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by subtle notes of spices and an earthy touch that reflects its origin.
