Description
Els Bardissots Oriental Blanc is the product of a dream that began in 2016, like all the wines of this winery, which later materialized in the hands of Pep Pou, Pilar Rosell and Oriol Artigas. This winery is strategically located in a mountain range north of Alella, Spain.
It is made from the Moscatel de grano gordo grape, in a 20 year old plot. The productions of this wine are small and are centred on plots of old vines of 80 and 90 years old, with old varieties that are hardly vinified anymore. This wine comes from a very fertile soil rich in decomposed granite, which gives it the special touch that characterises it.
Winemaking
It is made with grapes harvested by hand with artisanal and completely environmentally friendly processes. After being harvested from perfectly ripe fruit, the grapes undergo a 5-day semi-carbonic maceration in stainless steel vats.
The wine is then fermented together with wild yeasts and aged on lees for 6 months before bottling without fining, filtering or sulphur additions.

Els Bardissots Oriental Blanc is characterised by being fresh, organic, natural and vegan. Its aroma is very fruity, where the flavours and aromas of local fruits, herbs and minerals prevail.
