Description
Costadilà Rosso Da Tavola is a sincere and authentic wine that is presented without make-up or added sulphur. It is made in a traditional and natural way, allowing a maceration of one month and bottled without filtering.
Winemaking
This wine comes from vineyards approximately 30 years old located in the surroundings of Salgareda. The soil in which these vines grow is of a sedimentary type, which gives the wine its special characteristics. The grape varieties used are Merlot and Cabernet. Part of the harvest is overripe. Spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts with a short maceration of skins is carried out in stainless steel.
Taste
Costadilà Rosso Da Tavola has a vibrant ruby red colour. It displays varietal and primary notes of fresh red fruits such as cherry, raspberry, redcurrant and blackberry. In addition, vegetal, spicy and undergrowth nuances complete its aromatic profile. On the palate, it is fresh, juicy and satisfying, with lively tannins.
Excellent with spicy sausages such as salami, as well as with a "white" ragout (without tomato) and wide pasta.
