Winemaking
Joan Rubió Deix wine is made from grapes of the Ull de Llebre variety, also known as Tempranillo. These grapes are grown in wine-growing regions located in Spain, where the soil and climate give and favour the characteristics of the fruit, making them unique and exquisite.
For the elaboration of this red wine, traditional techniques are used together with innovative methods, starting with the careful selection of the best grapes and ending with their controlled fermentation using indigenous yeasts.
This is followed byageing in oak barrels for approximately 14 months before the sediment is removed and the bottle is finally closed.
Taste
The Joan Rubió Deix wine has a smooth and silky texture, with notes of ripe fruit, spices and slight hints of wood, making it a structured and balanced wine with a long and persistent finish.
