Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2013 K4 contains 25% Graciano on top of the Tempranillo and it's still very young and shows the oak in the foreground with the floras notes in the background. This is produced from a vineyard planted in 1950 at 600 meters altitude. The palate also shows the oak over the fruit, but seems to have the stuffing to overcome the situation. Give it one more year and enjoy over the next five. Only 900 bottles were produced.

Description
The red wine Artuke K4 of the D.O. Rioja, incorporates terms very attached to the selection of its grapes from a hillside located in the Sierra de Cantabria, at 650 meters of altitude.
Harvesting is done by hand and in small boxes in order to prevent accidents.
Winemaking
Artuke K4 was made from 75% Tempranillo and 25% Graciano grapes, planted in sandy soils with gravel and limestone substrate.
Its preparation lives up to its name, since it is made in 4 steps: choice of vineyard, choice of vines, choice of clusters and choice of grapes.
At the same time, the grapes are selected in three areas of the same vineyard. Specifically Baños de Ebro, San Vicente de la Sonsierra and Samaniego.
Farming is carried out under strict controls and with reasonable struggles. The berries and whole bunches have been traditionally fermented, and the must has been matured for 3 months in concrete tanks.
Aging lasts 15 months and is carried out in brand new French oak barrels.
Taste
Its aroma offers the creaminess of oak, a mineral touch with a lot of personality and the flavor of its fruit.
On the palate, ripe tannins are perceived combined with a delicious power.
A powerful wine, with a creamy profile and a striking color.
Its magnificent preparation summarizes several profiles of Bodega Artuke, as its exceptional grapes are something typical of the Rioja Alavesa. The intense touch of Graciano fully completes the Tempranillo it possesses.
The quadruple selection that yields this wine compiles the flavor of plenty of fruit and sufficient acidity, representing the balance of an elegant and classic wine.
