Description
The wine L'Opéra des Vins Les Années Folles is a wine made from the processing of Pineau d'Aunis and Chenin Blanc grapes, treated under the philosophy of applying artisanal techniques at all stages of production and minimising the addition of chemical products, which make possible the natural expression of the fruit.
Among experts it is classified as a pure, intense and complex wine, due to the diversity of aromas and flavours present in each sip.
Winemaking
L'Opéra des Vins Les Années Folles is made from grapes harvested from vineyards in the Jasnieres appellation, although it is labelled Vin de France.
The grapes are harvested using 100% artisanal techniques, so that the fruit remains at its optimum ripeness when it arrives at the winery.
After the must is extracted, it undergoes fermentation in stainless steel barrels, without the addition of any chemical elements that might alter the taste of the grapes. Afterwards, it is fermented again in the bottle for a period of 9 months, without any filtering or clarification process.
Taste
L'Opéra des Vins Les Années Folles is a bubbly, faint yellow wine from Pineau d'Auni grapes. It has a mineral flavour that is perfectly balanced by the presence of forest fruits and light earthy notes.
