Description
His passion for viticulture, as well as more than 15 years of winemaking in the Loire Valley, have given Jean Pierre Robinot the necessary experience to produce the best natural wines in the area and, according to several experts, some of the best in France.
The wine L'Opéra des Vins Fêtembulles is a clear proof of this, as well as the bar L'Ange Vin, which he opened in Paris in the 70's and which became one of the main bars dedicated to offer natural wines.
Winemaking
L'Opéra des Vins Fêtembulles white wine is made from Chenin Blanc grapes grown in the Loire Valley on limestone and red clay soils.
These grapes are harvested by hand and pressed very slowly. They undergo two fermentations, first fermented in stainless steel tanks, then in the bottle and aged for 9 months.
Like the other wines from the Jean Pierre Robinot winery, L'Opéra des Vins Fêtembulles is bottled without filtering or fining. No sulphites are added.
Taste
L'Opéra des Vins Fêtembulles is a rather dry wine with a lingering finish and delicate, fine bubbles. It is a mineral wine with notes of white and citrus fruits.
