I loved the 2021 Coccinella, a high-pitched, sharp and stony Albariño with a moderate 11.5% alcohol and notable acidity. It follows the style of the cold year, even in the Inxertal Vineyard that is planted with very old vines that deliver incredible wines with notes of herbs and flowers and a citrus touch combined with a subtle honeyed nose that somehow seems to be the signature of the vintage. The selected clusters were pressed directly and put to ferment in the same old 400-liter oak barrel (from 2010); no sulfur was used on the grapes, only after fermentation; and then the wine matured in the barrel until the next harvest. It's vibrant and fresh, very tasty and long and matured with the full clusters. Some 500 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2022.

Fermented with indigenous yeasts under controlled temperature in used 400-litre French oak barrels. Aged for 11 months on lees. Bottled without tartaric stabilization, unfined and lightly filtered.
