A new voice from experience
Although Ton represents the third generation of the renowned Recaredo winery, Bufadors was born from another place: from the need to express the landscape without filters, to explore the radical purity of sparkling wine. Since 2013, this small organically and biodynamically farmed vineyard has become a laboratory of authenticity and precision, a statement without dogmas but with an absolute conviction: wine must tell its story without interference.
Living vineyards, long ageing
The vineyard - 3.5 hectares on limestone soils - is a living organism meticulously tended. Hand-harvesting, fermentation with indigenous yeasts and the use of fresh must for secondary fermentation form an age-old technique that produces wines with subtle bubbles, enveloping texture and a direct, soulful expression of terroir.
Bufadors sparkling wines are aged for more than five years on the lees, developing a deep complexity without losing freshness. Disgorging by hand and without freezing is a gesture of respect for the wine, avoiding artificial alterations. Each bottle is a testimony of place and vintage, without make-up, without shortcuts.
