Can Feixes Huguet is a winery located in the northernmost part of the Penedés, bordering the region of Anoia and about 400 meters above sea level; the Huguet family settled in 1984 in Can Feixes although the estate dates back to the year 1400 owned by the Baron of Cabrera. Ecological practices, limited productions and respect for the surrounding environment are pillars of the philosophy of Can Feixes Huguet
.The privileged location of the estate, in a high and cool area, allows the grapes to benefit from the thermal contrast between day and night with a slower ripening resulting in a higher concentration of the must; the type of soil is characteristic of the Penedés: calcareous, clayey and stony, providing the calcareous part a part of tension to the wines and the clay part an assurance in the retention of rainwater.
Can Feixes Huguet owns 80 hectares and produces still wines under the Can Feixes brand and cavas under the Huguet brand, with native and foreign varietals well acclimatized such as: Parellada, Macabeu, Malvasia de Sitges, Chardonnay, Ull de Llebre, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Petit Verdot
