Description
Constantina Sotelo Maristerra, made by Constantina Sotelo in Galicia, is a white wine that stands out for its freshness and purity. Constantina, in charge of the family vineyards since 1985, works in the Salnés Valley, an area known for being the birthplace of Albariño, just 1 km from the sea. This wine is made from Albariño grapes grown in 2.5 hectares of old vines on granitic decomposed soils. The vines are managed with the traditional pergola system.
Winemaking
Constantina Sotelo Maristerra follows principles of minimal intervention, using vessels such as terracotta amphorae for alcoholic and malolactic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged on its fine lees, which gives it a special complexity and texture.
Taste
Constantina Sotelo Maristerra is characterised by its vibrant profile, with marked acidity and very aromatic. In the mouth, it has a light and pleasant mouthfeel, with stone fruit flavours, especially plum. It has a clean finish, with a saline touch that evokes its Atlantic origin. This wine offers a fresh and mineral experience, with a touch of green apple and hints of lemon cream, perfect with seafood or grilled fish.
