Description
The French red wine Clos des Grillons Calcaires from the Rhône region is produced by the Nicolas Renaud winery, renowned for its commitment to sustainable agriculture and natural winemaking.
Winemaking
This wine is made from Syrah and Grenache grapes grown organically in vineyards located on limestone soils. The grapes are harvested by hand, destemmed and fermented with natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks without sulphite reduction.
The wine is then matured in French oak barrels for 12 months before bottling without filtration.
Taste
Clos des Grillons Calcaires red wine is medium-bodied with intense aromas of red and black fruits, spices and floral notes. On the palate, wild fruit flavours stand out with a long and persistent finish.
