Tasted from the vat, the 2017 Alsace Pinot Gris Heimbourg de Turckheim shows a pure and reductive nose of crushed stones, indicating a flinty but also generous fruit aroma. Lush and round on the palate, this is an intensely fruity and charming wine with refreshing acidity and lingering salinity. Excellent. Tasted October 2018.
