There is a new one-off blend of the best parajes in the transparent 2023 vintage, because it was larger crop. The 2023 Mestura is a wine they think should be kept in bottle so they are releasing it a little later. It mixes grapes from Tilama, Juan Bello, Masdache and Testeyna, selected from the barrels they liked best to show a classical view of the island, with finesse and amplitude. This blend of the three white grapes is a little creamier but keeps a streamlined profile with very healthy parameters—13% alcohol, a pH of 3.26 and 5.94 grams of acidity—with a chalky, dry mouthfeel and a very long, tasty finish. 3,200 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2024.
