Heir to a rigorous winemaking tradition, the winery is committed to a production without shortcuts, rescuing the use of holandas distilled in alquitaras, a slow and selective method that concentrates the noblest essence of the wine.
This brandy is the result of a careful selection of three holandas aged between 12 and 20 years old. They are first aged in vintage American oak and then pass to the criaderas and soleras system, in casks previously filled with oloroso and amontillado. The result is an elegant, mature and sober expression, deeply marked by the Jerez tradition and the warm, dry climate of southern Andalusia, which accelerates oxidative ageing and favours aromatic concentration.

Taste
Fernando de Castilla Solera Selecto Decanter has a bright mahogany colour with golden highlights. On the nose, it displays enveloping aromas of toasted almonds, noble wood, dry spices and a slightly smoky background. The palate is dry, elegant and long: it enters smoothly, fills the palate with nutty, vanilla and leather flavours, and leaves with a warm, refined persistence. Ideal for moments of contemplation, accompanied by a good dark chocolate or an aged Havana cigar.
