Deep purple-black in color, the nose of the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon slowly unfurls to reveal a gorgeous perfume of violets and roses over a core of kirsch, boysenberries and cassis, plus hints of redcurrant jelly and menthol, emerging into wafts of pencil lead and truffles. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is built like a brick house, featuring very firm, wonderfully ripe, grainy tannins and bold freshness to support the vivacious, tightly wound black and red fruit layers, finishing long and mineral laced. It's a stunning, evocative, singular wine that so beautifully captures the long, slow-maturing grace of the 2019 vintage.

Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is an exceptional example of the region's quality and winemaking tradition, produced at the renowned Eisele Vineyard in Napa Valley.
Winemaking
Meticulous grape selection in the winemaking process ensured that only the best Cabernet Sauvignon grapes reached the fermentation tanks. The excellent ripeness of the skins and seeds allowed for a smooth and balanced extraction. This wine was aged for 18 months in a combination of French oak barrels (55%) and Austrian oak foudres (45%), resulting in a savoury blend of ripe fruit and spicy notes. Importantly, the grapes from the Eisele Vineyard are certified organic by CCOF and biodynamic by Demeter.

Eisele Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is a superb wine that reflects the quality of its place of origin. When served, it unfolds the richness of a summer fruit basket, with notes of raspberry coulis, blackberry tart, violet caramel and blueberry preserves. Its bouquet opens up into complex layers of forest floor, pine, cocoa powder and cinnamon, creating a bouquet of high tones. On the palate, it is round and plush, with dusty, succulent tannins accompanied by black pepper, arabica coffee and cinnamon. The fragrant, juicy finish lingers on the palate with notes of elderberry and rose petals.
