The red 2021 Vía Edetana Carinyena was produced with a selection of grapes from old vines that ripened thoroughly to 15% alcohol, giving it a jammy nose of dark berry fruit and some aromatic herbs. The palate is juicy and round, with volume and very fine tannins, heady but pleasant and approachable. 5,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2023.
