The 2019 Com Tu is now part of the Clos Mogador portfolio even though it started as a small separate project from Anderson Barbier, who is now training to be a chef, so the project is continued by his brother, René. This is now the village wine from La Figuera (in Montsant) from the Mogador team. 2019 is a year of concentration but with very good acidity, and the wine shows the good Priorat (even if it's from Montsant!)—warm and ripe with careful extraction. The wine expresses a typical vintage in balance, showing the power the zone delivers. It's a very complete wine, still young and a little closed, a year like 2016 or 2013, that will grow with time in bottle. 12,000 bottles produced.

Description
Clos Mogador Com Tu is a reserve red wine made with the Grenache variety by the Clos Mogador winery under the Montsant appellation (Catalonia, Spain).
Com Tu is made exclusively from Grenache grapes coming from a small village of 70 inhabitants in Montsant called La Figuera. The grapes come from vines between 35 and 50 years old, as well as from some centenary vines located at an altitude of 580 metres above sea level.
Its soils have local llicorella characteristics, composed of partially decomposed slate and quartz.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand and selected directly from the vineyard. Once in the winery, the whole and destemmed grapes are subjected to different fermentations with two methods, combining macerations with different durations; one with a time period of 10 and 12 days and the other a little over 35 and 45 days.
At the end of fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in oak casks with a capacity of 4,500 litres.
Taste
Clos Mogador Com Tu is a red wine with a great complexity of citrus aromas. Delicate but full-bodied on the palate, with refined tannins, vibrant acidity and well-integrated oak.

Clos Mogador Com Tu comes from vineyards that have been certified organic since 2012.
This red wine made from Grenache is very easy to love. Moreover, it is considered to be another of René Barbier's great wines from Montsant.
The idea for the name "Com Tu" came from Anderson Barbier Meyer (René Barbier's son), an artist who, together with his mother, created this label.
In the gastronomic field, this wine is especially recommended as a gift and as an accompaniment to goat's cheese, grilled red meats, stews, steak tartar and white meats with sauce.
