Description
Bonnardot Santenay is an aged red wine made from Pinot Noir by the Domaine Bonnardot winery in the Burgundy region of France.
Santenay is an appellation in the south of the Côte de Beaune. The vineyard where the grapes come from is located at 260 metres above sea level, in a place called "The Saunières'', in the Santenay appellation, south of the Côte de Beaune.
This vineyard has been planted on clay and limestone soils with south-east exposure, which brings many qualities to this excellent wine.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum ripeness and on arrival at the winery, they are sorted on the table and then slowly and delicately pressed into whole bunches. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in oak vats, without sulphites or other additives.
The wine is aged for 14 months in oak barrels. Bonnardot Santenay is bottled unfiltered, unclarified and without added sulphites.

Bonnardot Santenay is a red wine with fruity aromas and firm, elegant tannins on the finish.
