Description
Bonnardot Pommard is an aged red wine made from the Pinot Noir grape variety (100%) by the Domaine Bonnardot winery in the Burgundy region of France.
Pommard, located next to the town of Beaune, is one of the most famous appellations in the Burgundy region. Only Pinot Noir red wine is produced under this appellation.
The plot of Pommard de Bonnardot is located in the centre of the hill, at an altitude of 310 metres, in the middle of a hillside, demarcated by dry stone walls. It is an area with a varied flora and fauna.
Elaboration
The grapes are harvested by hand at optimum ripeness and on arrival at the winery, they are sorted on the table and then slowly and delicately pressed in whole bunches, long maceration.
Alcoholic fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in oak vats, without sulphur or other additives. The wine is aged for 14 months in oak barrels. Bonnardot Pommard is bottled without filtration and after natural sedimentation.

Bonnardot Pommard is a fresh, fruity, structured, fluid red wine with good balance and finesse. It has fruity aromas, nice suppleness and elegant tannins. It has a long and spicy finish.
