Leirana is a young white wine, made mainly with Albariño grapes in the Rías Baixas appellation by Rodrigo Méndez and Raúl Pérez.
The vines where the grapes come from were planted between 1952 and 1982 in granitic and sandy soils by the sea.
This white wine is made by hand harvesting and selection. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks (60%) and oak foudre (40%). The wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation.
Leirana is a white wine with a pleasant floral and herbal expression.
The palate has a friendly entry, is very electric and delivers balanced acidity, with good ageing potential and a long aftertaste.
